From Reader to Writer
My journey with web fiction started with reading.
Like many readers, I started looking for stories that could keep me interested. Over time, that interest developed into curiosity about how those stories were created.
Slowly I started writing web novels myself. Working on multiple stories taught me about characters, pacing, consistency, and the difference between having an idea and turning that idea into a story that other people can follow.
Editorial Experience
My involvement with web fiction eventually expanded beyond writing. I became part of the editorial team at NovelCult and later took on an editorial lead role.
Editing gave me another perspective on storytelling. Instead of looking at a story only as its creator, I had to think about how another person would experience it as a reader.
Why I Still Read
Even after becoming a writer and editor, I still consider myself a reader first. Discovering new authors and different approaches to storytelling is one of the things that keeps web fiction interesting to me.
